We're sorry but Bio-met is being updated.
BIO-MET.NET is a free to use online resource and community for those interested in using bioavailability-based approaches for assessing the environmental risk of metals in the aquatic environment. BIO-MET.NET is a "one-stop shop" evidence base of information resources and guidance required to use a bioavailability-based approach for metals risk assessment in freshwaters.
These resources include a simple "tool" for calculating the bioavailability of copper (Cu), nickel (Ni) and zinc (Zn) in different freshwaters. A series of case studies will be documented, along with links to reports demonstrating how bioavailability-based tools can be automated within laboratory information systems (LIMS) and regulatory compliance frameworks, including the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD). All of these resources are freely-available to members of the BIO-MET.NET community. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information
